Anthony Runco
Managing Partner
Anthony is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of West-Atlantic Partners. He is active in the day-to-day management of the firm and all investment decisions. He has an extensive, multi-year track record within J.P. Morgan’s investment bank advising countless companies in the professional management of their operations and strategic decision-making. Specializing in the services and technology sectors, Anthony has helped executives realize their companies’ potentials both via internal, organic growth and via acquisition.
Prior to J.P. Morgan, Anthony served in the United States Air Force through the rank of Captain. He has expertly led diverse, 40-member teams to execute high-pressure missions to improve our nation’s nuclear detection and satellite capabilities.
Anthony holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he distinguished himself by publishing a widely-read article in MIT’s Sloan Management Review. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and has a B.S. from Yale University, where he graduated cum laude and was named the top Electrical Engineering graduate.
Anthony is an Eagle Scout and the proud son of a career NYPD police officer and an NYPD nurse. Raised in a blue-collar town on the South Shore of Long Island, NY, Anthony recalls 9/11 well. In the aftermath of the tragedy, he witnessed his community come together under the leadership of local business owners, who provided desperately needed goods and services. He has sought to emulate this dedication to community in his own life. To Anthony, friends are family and family are friends.
